Project Brief

Zodiac Seats California approached ID Group to refresh their aging Business Class seats for an ever-demanding market while minimizing engineering costs. Phase 0 began with reverse engineering of the previous generation seat and create the framework for Mission Definition Review. I engaged in streamlining and improving the product based on manufacturing demands during this phase. Upon completion of phase 0, I was involved in a heavy phase of sketching ideations to flush out the look and feel of the new product. I created multiple CAD models and created photorealistic renderings to present to our client for the Preliminary Design Review Review. After PDR approval, I was tasked to create marketing collateral for the sales and marketing team. I had a chance to work closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales throughout this entire process.
