Zodiac Seats California approached ID Group to create a fresh look for their new Slimplus economy class seats using new production techniques and philosophy. Phase 0 began with reverse engineering of the previous generation seat and create the framework for Mission Definition Review. I engaged in streamlining and improving the product based on manufacturing demands during this phase. Upon completion of phase 0, I was involved in a phase of sketching ideations to flush out the look and feel of the new product. I created multiple CAD models and created photorealistic renderings to present to Lufthansa for their Preliminary Design Review. Upon completion of the PDR, our team helped with prototyping parts ofthe the mockup for the Critical Design Review.
