I sat on a seat that I helped design!

On my way back from Anaheim, I was on United's EMB175 aircraft... Guess what I saw?

they even kept the metallic finish on the table latch. I thought for sure it was going to go away...

Its the Slimplus that I worked on! Even though it was a rather uncomfortable seat, I still felt very proud to be part of a project that went through to production.

 

The seat back had maybe an inch of foam; as such, I was certainly able to feel the carbon fiber seat back. The injection-molded armrests were very hard as well, boney elbows will have a bad time on this for sure....

Despite these major flaws, it certainly looked fantastic.
